ONE PIECE the Movie: Episode of Chopper - The Miracle Winter Cherry Blossom won Animation of the year at the 32nd JAPAN ACADEMY PRIZE

 ONE PIECE the Movie: Episode of Chopper-The Miracle Winter Cherry Blossom, the 9th movie of ONE PIECE released on Mar. 2008, won Animation of the year at the 32nd JAPAN ACADEMY PRIZE.

 The TV series ONE PIECE started on Oct. 1999 in Japan is 10th anniversary this year through the steadfast support of a lot of fans, and it became one of the long-running animation series of Toei Animation. We are very flattered and honored to receive this award and keep  enhancing the “ONE PIECE movement”.

[About the 32nd JAPAN ACADEMY PRIZE]
The Japan Academy Prize is a series of awards given annually since 1978 by the Nihon Academy-sho Association for excellence in Japanese film. The 32nd was announced on Dec. 18, 2008, and five nominees for the category are association by the awarding of Excellent Animation of the Year.
