Robo D'z, that Toei Animation collaborates with Walt Disney Television International Japan, goes to air in February 2009 on Disney XD, one of the Disney channels in the United States. In the science-fiction comedy, Robo D'z selection, Nejimaru, engages in high-speed battles against the fiercest conquerors of the universe, the Baddle Group. Also featured is innovative imaging technology that combines 3DCG characters with real backgrounds and a story that is packed with jokes. Both Toei Animation and Disney have taken on many new challenges in the new series. Toei Animation has collaborated with other companies, DEMASHITA POWER PUFF GIRLS Z in 2006, TAICHI CHASER in 2007, and this Robo D'z in 2008, on the assumption that the work would proliferate worldwide. Plans for the next collaboration are already underway. With the aim of expanding our overseas businesses, our active commitment to planning and production will continue.
