Toei Animation Co., Ltd. and Walt Disney Television International Japan　(hereinafter referred to as WDTVI-J) start broadcasting the SF action comedy Robo D’z from June 2nd on Toon Disney, a TV channel run by WDTVI-J. Combining camera shots with 3DCG, Robo D’z is their first collaboration. Toei Animation Co., Ltd. has been highly regarded inside and outside the country by making 3DCG images for events and CG scenes for movies in addition to CG scenes for traditional 2D Animation. The collaboration is the first 3DCG-based TV series for Toei Animation Co., Ltd. This is also the first opportunity for WDTVI-J to collaborate with another company in making a TV Animation series in Japan from the planning stage. WDTVI-J regards Japan as the source of new work and will add further attraction to its programs. Enjoy the innovative image technology combining 3DCG characters with camera shots and the hilarious story that is worth seeing again and again.
