Toei Animation Co., Ltd. releasesONE PIECE THE MOVIE THE MECHA SOLDIER OF KARAKURI CASTLEat theaters in South Korea on Oct. 26, 2006. The TV series ofONE PIECEstarted in Oct. 1999 in Japan. In the eighth year, the long-running series is still very popular and attracts a variety of ages. Seven theatrical films have already been released. The coming release in South Korea is the first time that a theatrical version of ONE PIECE will be shown in an overseas theater. The popularity of the TV series ofONE PIECEis not limited in Japan only. It transcends international borders and is aired in South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, United States, Latin America, Australia, Europe and many other parts of the world.
