Toei Animation Co., Ltd. is proud to commemorate its 50th anniversary by establishing Toei Animation (Shanghai) Representative Office (tentative name) in Shanghai, China in Jun. 2006. The Company has been vigorously expanding in Asia since the 1970s. A local subsidiary was set up in Hong Kong in Mar. 1997. This was designed as a base for marketing activities in Asian areas, vital for our overseas strategies. In particular, we have received an increasing number of offers and inquiries from broadcasting stations and commercial manufacturers in the Chinese market. Our expansion is now becoming more effective and efficient. In addition, we have established local subsidiaries in Los Angeles (United States) and Paris (France). The international development and strengthening of our business will continue and will be more rooted in each of the overseas markets as we aim to embody the true meaning of Global Animation Company.
