Toei Animation Co., Ltd. commences the broadcast of PRETTY CURE SPLASH STAR at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 5TH, 2006 on ABC and TV Asahi network. This is the third series of PRETTY CURE comics, which are enormously popular among girls. The third series features entirely new characters and a fresh storyline without losing touch with its base, namely the friendship between the two leading characters. Cure Bloom and Cure Egret, modeled after a flower and a bird, respectively, transform themselves into a pair of legendary fighters named PRETTY CURE. Right from its broadcast in Feb. 2004, the PRETTY CURE series earned high ratings and instantaneously became the most popular animation series by far among young girls. The TV series, theatrical movie and other related goods of PRETTY CURE have become great hits. Our commitment to developing the PRETTY CURE series will continue into the long term.
